In a brand-new collaboration with the Lynchburg Museum, this interdisciplinary concert blends performance with storytelling. Held in the museum’s historic main gallery on Court Street, “Sounds of the Hill City” will bring local artifacts and hidden histories to life through music. We’re honored to partner with Ted Delaney, Director of Museums and Chief Public History Officer for the City of Lynchburg, to develop this special program.
Repertoire includes Dvořák’s “American” String Quartet, C.P.E. Bach’s playful Duet for Flute and Violin, Reena Esmail’s luminous Nadiya for flute and viola, and the delightfully quirky Stir Crazy. Hosted in the historic Court Street gallery, this one-of-a-kind experience brings local histories into vibrant musical conversation.
