This concert marks the beginning of SHCM’s sixth year with a sophisticated program at Saint John’s in the Village on Tuesday, April 28.
This New York City premiere features a masterful selection of works, including Beethoven’s Septet in E flat, Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro, and poignant excerpts from Mahler’s Rückert Lieder. The performance showcases an exceptional ensemble of fourteen musicians, including mezzo-soprano Lara Nie. This free, all-ages event offers an exceptional hour and a half of world-class artistry in an intimate historic setting, continuing SHCM’s tradition of bringing high-caliber chamber music to vibrant urban spaces.
